Instead, Mieruko-chan leans into what Passione was so masterful at conveying in Ishuzoku Reviewers: comedy and fanservice. By not even bothering to explain various plot holes and inconsistencies, though, it manages to actually funnel your attention on the smaller scale, more interesting road-trip narrative.
